Formed in Iceland anno 2002 as the solo project of Einar Thorberg, AKA Eldur.

known as the Völuspá trilogy, Fortíð had relocated in Norway as a full lineup band.
After 8 years, 2 more albums and some live shows in Europe, Fortíð was back again in Iceland.
